Imam Position Available
The Islamic community of Athens, GA is seeking a qualified Imam to lead this diverse community of about 100 families.

Qualifications:

• Formal education, preferably in Islamic Studies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Quran, Hadith and Fiqh.
• Complete fluency in English. Good knowledge in Arabic.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all age groups (children, youth, and adults).
• Proficiency in moderate level computer skills.
• Hefzul Quran is highly preferred.
• Ability to lead da’wah and interfaith activities.
• Previous experience as an Imam is highly preferred.
• Employable in the United States.

Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience..
