IMAM HISHAM'S FAREWELL DINNER

Our very beloved Imam and friend, Br. Hisham will be leaving our community after May 20, 2008. This is a huge loss for this community. After nearly 18 years of dedicated and selfless service to the Al-Huda Islamic Center and the community, Br. Hisham has himself become an institution and it’s really hard for us to say "good-bye".
Nevertheless, we are planning a community gathering and dinner in honor of Br. Hisham on this coming Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the downtown Lay Park Gymnasium.
PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR and don't miss this opportunity to show our appreciation and wish Br. Hisham the VERY BEST, inshAllah.

Dinner schedule honoring Imam Hisham:

When:     SUNDAY May 18, 2008 at 6:15 pm

Where:    Thomas Lay Park Gymnasium (See direction below)

Please come on time to make the event successful

Daily Guidance from the Quran & Hadith

13:11 For each (person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of God. Verily never will God change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls). But when (once) Go d willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.
